Caineville / Swingarm City May 2009 Slideshow

For our Memorial Day holiday we decided to head back down near Caineville Utah to what has become one of our favorite places to ride and camp. It made for a perfect Memorial Day get away because of the lack of crowds and near perfect temps. Here is a slideshow of the pics we took. We got rain for much of the day Saturday making it nearly impossible to ride, but the buggy was a fun mud toy and it dried out beautifully Sunday and Monday. The rain settled the dust and made for awesome soil and perfect temps the following days.

We really had a great time riding around this awesome place. There really is no other place in the world like this for dirt bikes. We enjoy the wide open free feeling here and also the closeness we feel as a family by enjoying it together. It really is a shame that so much has been fenced off. The fence is a real eyesore that has been built in a so called effort to preserve the beauty of the Factory Butte area. We are afraid that this area has been lost forever, but we'll continue to hope and continue to enjoy this amazing place. Of the 2 dozen or so other people we saw enjoying the area and the cactus on this "busy" weekend, %100 of them were on a recreation vehicle and %0 were on foot, yet the people on foot continue to decide how the rest of us are able to use the area.

  7. The boys and I are heading to Caineville over the 24th..I'm sure no one else is crazy enough to join us in this heat, but does anyone know where to get parts to make an outdoor mister? I don't want to spend $140 for one, and we already have a pump on the trailer..I just need the nozzles, hose and fittings.:)
