Moab Utah Off-Road Trail Information

I don't think Moab needs much of an introduction. It has some of the best off roading in the world and is very well known. Over the years we have completed nearly every trail in the Moab Utah area, but recently have cut back the amount of trips and the intensity of the trails we run because of our growing interest in dirt bikes and atv's. Unfortunately, most of our Moab trips have been largely undocumented until recently. Located in Southern Utah, the temperatures tend to be more on the mild side during the winter, but can get hot in the summer. Trails are usually a mix of sand and slickrock. The sandstone makes for great grip allowing vehicles to climb seemingly impossible obstacles. Spring and Fall are the best times to visit, but you can find good days during the winter as well. The sand and rock do well with moisture, and sometimes is even a benefit to make the sand more solid and settle the dust. Be careful of flash flooding however as this can be a hazard in many canyon areas. The weather cam below is helpful in seeing the conditions, but check forecasts as well before heading out. Click the "Directions" link on the map below for directions from your location to Moab, or click on the icon to the right on your mobile device.
